Seem to have gotten rid of my pneumonia. I still am struggling with shortness of breath. Seeing a cardiologist for that.

President Biden fell while board a plane this last week. I am very concerned about his well being. Hope they are taking good care of him.

Some of his latest moves, has turned our world upside down. He pipeline cancellations have the gas prices skyrocketing. Hard to find gas for under $3.00 now.

There are more National Guardsmen in the nation’s capital than there are n Afghanistan. Doesn’t seem to make any sense to me.

The National Guard is overworked as it is, with helping with the vaccine, and other duties.

I did an interview with a SFC sniper recently. He has been out for a while now, and I asked him if he would go back in if he could. He said, “Yes, in a New York minute!”

Once a warrior always a warrior.

Here is another excerpt from my upcoming book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life. In the near future I will not be sharing anymore excerpts. I will be more direct and sharing the structure of the book, and some powerful endorsements.

While on maneuvers in Virginia, I was riding in a jeep through a mountainous area. As we came around a bend a big boulder rolled near us . The driver swerved and missed the boulder, but the force threw me out of the jeep and I landed directly on the boulder back first.

The force of hitting the boulder knocked me unconscious. The next thing I remember, I was in a first aid tent. I woke up and began screaming in pain. A medic ran over to me and injected morphine into me.

That helped me a great deal. Years later I am still trying to get compensation for that accident. They are holding out, but I am stubborn.

I want to plug a social media site that I highly recommend. It’s not like all the other sites. It is for military people only.

It is called RallyPoint. There are close to two million veterans there. It is a wonderful way to find old military buddies, and talk military.

www.rallypoint.com/join/spc-douglas-bolton

Just go to this site and sign up. It is free and the topics are always very interesting.

Got to think that the current administration for our country wants to have us do a U-turn and go in the wrong direction. They have closed all oil pipelines, causing gas prices to skyrocket. They are clinging to abortion and want to even expand it. They even said they wanted to get rid of cows, because the gas they omit pollutes our air.

I have never seen such a quick change in our country since the new president has taken over.

I am very alarmed that he may not be fit for the job. I heard him speak in just the last two days, and he doesn’t seem coherent. He loses where he is at in his speech. He forgets his own cabinet members names

He has opened to door to China to seemingly let them take control of our country.

This is an opinion of course, and I hope I am very wrong.

Here is another excerpt from the new book coming out called, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.

One of my most embarrassing times while deployed to South Korea, was actually on my day off. A courier who was make a run up to the DMZ area invited me to ride with him.

I was excited about the trip, because I had never been to the area.

On the way there we came through a rice patty area with hundreds of acres of rice.

The driver saw a papasan (old guy) carrying some human waste in the buckets that he had strung to a board and was carrying it on his back.

The driver challenged me to hit the nearest bucket to see what would happen. I felt I needed to do it to be accepted. (I know stupid.)

We got close and I stuck my arm out and flipped the man’s bucket. It spun him around and sent him to the ground all covered with human waste.

The driver laughed, and said, “Welcome to the club.!” I was instantly sorry that Idid and cussed out the driver for talking me into it.

He shouted back that the man was just a gook. No big deal.

I think about that trip even to this day.

I have much more on this trip in my book, Signs of hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of life.

It will cover what happened when I got to the DMZ, It was frightening, but fun at the same time.

Here are some news for you:

Hitler’s nephew joined the US Navy to fight his evil uncle is the ultimate family drama.

The Navy’s surface fleet is turning into a floating advertisement for Rust-Oleum
‘We have become the worst-looking Navy in the world – with no competition.’

The Air Force preaches ‘zero tolerance’ of sexual assault.
We salute a heroic military working dog for taking out a gunman who pinned his team down during a fierce firefight..

Supreme Court delivers major victory for military sexual assault survivors.

The US is only ‘marginally’ ready for a war with Russia or China, new assessment finds.

+Despite record budgets in recent years, the U.S. military is underfunded and needs more troops, planes, ships, and high-tech assets if it wants to be ready to wage long-term war with foes like Russia and China.

Here is another excerpt from the book, Signs of Hope for the mIlitary: In an Out of the Trenches of Life:

While in South Korea, my job was to monitor airways for breaches of security.

One evening as I was listening, I heard a person who obviously had been drinking. He blurted out that he was having a party at his place. He even gave directions. A clear breach of security.

I alerted the MP’s about this and they were at his house in about five minutes. (Thanks to his stupid sharing where he lived.)

He was arrested and dropped in rank. His rank before he was busted was full Colonel.

I somewhat felt bad that he got busted, but what he was doing was very dangerous to our military.
