Welcome to my author site. I try to put thoughts here that will give  you hope, and help you make it through the day. I also will be putting ideas on writing, and marketing here.

I have been very fortunate, in that I have met some pretty knowledgeable people in     the writing world.

One is John Kremer, the author of, “1001 Ways to Market Your Book.” John is widely know as the guru of marketing for writers. I had the privilege of being interviewed by John through a podcast that he placed on all of his site. He asked me the question: “What are some of the unusual places to sell books?”  You can listen to the whole interview by clicking on the URL above in the paragraph about John Kremer.

I also recently made a trailer for my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.” You can see that by going over to the right top and clicking on the video. It is well done, and give you and good idea about what the books is about.

Thoughts just for you….

Are we slaves in that we MUST believe  in God. Of course not. God gives us choices. We can choose to believe in Him or not.

God doesn’t stop us from choosing paths that aren’t His own. He lets us declare our supposed independence from Him, even though He knows that in time we will become slaves to our own religious choices. We will lose our freedom to not sin.

There is no worse slavery, than the slavery to sin.

It is so easy to “stray,” away from God with all the modern electronics like TV, music, movies, presenting sinful activities for people to hear and see.

We find ourselves constantly bombarded by attitudes and beliefs that are totally opposed to the Bible.

We need to focus on what is right and true. We need to walk the right path that God has for us. We shouldn’t allow the world to sway us to fall in love with it.

Stay strong! Walk Straight! Always keep you eyes on the Lord!

Remember:

Thoughts just for you….

When we feel down and out, we need to stop hanging our heads low and look up. Look up to our heavenly Father, who is always there to listen and guide us through the muck and mire.

I have been to the bottom of the deepest pits. I have been at knocking at death’s door. I had a time when I wanted to check out of this hotel called earth.

I forgot God was with me, and tried to solve my problems on my own. It was too over whelming for me. I felt lost, and unloved, even though I had a happy marriage, three children, and seven beautiful grandchildren.

I allowed Satan to attack my thinking and he was about to hang me up on his trophy wall.

I cried out to God, and He pulled me out of the muck and mire, and has held my hand ever since. He was there all the time, but I didn’t see Him, because I was looking in the wrong direction.

Don’t let this world overcome you. Let God guide you down the right path, and learn from the tremendous love He has for you.
