It has been pretty exciting around here lately. You will see some updating, and changes to the site. I will talk more about those in a minute. Here are some thoughts for just you and no one else…

  • Do you have walls that seems to be closing in on you. I have been there myself. Do those walls seem too high. wide, and deep for you to handle? Well… Our God is higher, wider, and can go deeper than any wall. Just ask Him for help and he will be there with you the rest of they way.
  • No more Mr./Mrs. nice guy. Don’t  let Satan control your life. Give him the boot. You can be the mower, and he is the grass. God will give you all the strength you need to battle him.
  • The way you think about yourself. decides your destiny. If you don’t like yourself, it is hard to like others. Remember, God made you in His own image. God never makes mistakes, and He didn’t with you either. God has a purpose for you. You just need to pray and find out what that is.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not Unloved.

Above all….never, ever,  give up!

I Was Ready to Check Out of This Hotel Called Earth

I am starting a whole new format tomorrow. I will have a podcast for you to listen to, and a trailer for “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” on You Tube for you to watch. Be sure to come back tomorrow to check it out.

It will take a while for this to have at a professional look, but I plan to have interviews with authors, guest posts from authors, and posts that share trends in the publishing business.

It is totally new for me, so I may make some mistakes, and it may  take a while for me to get all the glitches out. However, I feel that this is the direction that God is sending me, and I will keep doing it unitl He says otherwise.

On that note… Are you following the path that God has laid out for you? Are you winging it on your own? I was winging it on my own back in 2001, and it didn’t work for me.

I was literally down to my last breath clinging to a then rope, and ready to check out of this hotel called earth. This was all because I wanted to face life on my own terms, and was sinking in the muck and mire.

I finally cried out to God, “I can’t take this anymore,” and he took me by the hand and has been by carrying me ever since.

Don’t try to go through life alone. Turn all your worries and trials over to God, and let Him lead the way for you.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

Above all….never, ever, give up!

Jesus Will never Give up on You

I will not be sharing an excerpt today. I want to tell you about a new adventure we will be having here.

We are going to slowly change this site into an author’s reference, and resource center.

It will have guest interviews; the sharing of ideas for marketing, and looking at the trends in publishing.

I will soon have a podcast that I did with John Kremer, the marketing guru. He asked me question about selling books in unusual places. He was very pleased with the taping, and I will be able to share the whole podcast with you soon.

I also have a trailer for my book that will be available on this site soon. It is on You Tube right now. Just go to You Tube and put in Signs of Hope-Doug Bolton. Let me know what you think of it.

I want to close with some thoughts:

Jesus didn’t give up on Peter, the adulterous woman, or the thief on the cr0ss. He won’t give up on you either.
