I am letting you know that I have been down with illness for two years today. I’m still struggling, but I couldn’t wait any longer for the pain to go away.
I’m moving on and letting you know that the format is taking a big change, From now on I will be posting military information. I am a veteran and I love my follow veterans, and current military.

Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Senate minority leader, said Wednesday that in supporting Ukraine, the U.S. is lining up against all its chief adversaries.
A government shutdown would slow the pace of replacing weapons stockpiles sent to Ukraine, the Defense Department’s comptroller said, especially if new money for the war against Russia is left out of the ultimate spending package.

Congress May Create Medal to Honor Heroic Military Dogs
A new decoration that would honor military working dogs is included in the House version of the annual defense bill.
The are many stories about the military that have been forgotten, but I interviewed four WWII veterans for my new book, and they are amazing. Each one had a near death experience. They didn’t do anything heroic, but put their lives on the line.
The book is called, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.
