“Another day another dollar. ” That is what I heard from relatives back in the 40’s. It meant that there wasn’t much money to go around. It was tough times, but there were many heroes from that time. They were called, “The great generation.” I had three uncles from that generation that fought in WWII. Two of them earned Purple Hearts. They are the ones who inspired me to join the military myself.

The Mozart Group, a U.S. veteran-led private security company, has provided a crash-course training program for Ukrainian troops. Its staff has grown to nearly 30 highly experienced trainers made up of mostly former American service members.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba pressed Southeast Asian countries for political and material support in his county’s fight against Russia, while accusing Moscow on Saturday of playing “hunger games” with the world by holding up shipments of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products.
