Have you ever had one of those days when nothing went right. I am having one of those days today.

On my blog, www.dailysignsofhope.com I have had nothing but trouble. I am trying to post a great blog by one of our guest bloggers, and the site keeps going in and out. I just get something done, and try to save and POW the site goes out and every I put in is gone. Ten it comes back in and I am able to get in t few more lines.

I had to leave there before my blood pressure explodes! I will go back later and try again.

We all face these kinds of days.

You thought you had plenty of time to get to work, and then there is a crash on the freeway and you are stuck. (I have been there.)

The bill you thought you paid and mailed was slid under some papers, and then you get a late notice. (This happened to me yesterday!)

The biggest fish you have ever seen is on your hook. You are ready to net it, and the line snaps. (This also has happened to me.)

I am sure you can relate. You have your own stories.

Through all these troubles you can be assured of one thing. No matter how small, or big our troubles are, God is there with us to help us through them.

I needed to hear that myself this morning. I will now finish this up and attack my blog again. I know with God and perseverance I can finish that post and move on.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Why do we waste our days away worrying about tomorrow? God provides food for the little sparrows, don’t you think He will provide food and help for those He created in His own image?

I spent too much time having pity parties that no one wanted to come to. I wallowed around in the muck and mire, drowning in my own thoughts of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and even hopelessness.

I wasted too many days where I could have enjoyed life. I should have been praising God for each day instead of crying my eyes out for no reason.

That is behind me now. Why? because I cried out to God that I couldn’t take this rat race anymore, and He calmed me down right during that prayer. It was like He was saying, “It’s about time you came back to Me. Now let Me carry you the rest of the way.”

You don’t have to waste one more minute feeling down and out. Just pray to God for help, and He will show you the right path to see joy and happiness.

Yes, it may take a while. Wounds need time to heal, but if you keep up the faith and talk to God everyday like I do now, you will see a change in your life that will see  you through the storms of life.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

I just finished an eleven day signing tour at the Oregon State fair. It was grueling in that it is was twelve hours days.

I was very blessed in this signing. I had hundreds of people stop by and talk with me and I sold some books as well.

Some of the people who stopped by were in a lot of mental pain from things that had happened in their life.

One woman wasn’t able to stop from crying as she told me about her life. I felt badly for her, but as she looked through my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” she said that it would help her through the muck and mire she was drowning in.

Another person knew of a family member that would benefit from the book, who was talking about comitting suicide. She bought the book, and I prayed the the words in the book would open this young man’s heart to God, and His love.

Still another man told me that his wife had just left him, and he didn’t know what hope there was in this world. He put the book down and left. I prayed for him. About a half hour later the same man came back and said, ” You must have been praying for me. I felt the need to come back and get the book.”

I sold 46 boooks to people who had stories of their own to tell. I could have written a book just from their lives.

How about you? Do you have a story to tell? Are you facing storms in your life?

You need to know that you have a heavenly Father who loves you very much. He won’t stop the storms, but He will help calm them.

Don’t let the prince of this earth, Satan, control your thoughts. You have a purpsoe in life. You are worthy of God’s love.

God made you in His image and God doesn’t make mistakes.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all… never, ever, give up!
